Due to the current pandemic, Mersea Island Medical Practice remains in emergency measures. Do not attend the Practice premises unless you have been advised to by a clinician. All requests for appointments and prescriptions, and any queries, should be made via the website or via the telephone.
It is imperative that we can adhere to social distancing measures within the waiting room and that those patients who have an appointment are able to attend without queuing.
All patients and visitors to the Practice are now required to wear a face covering throughout the duration of their visit. Children under the age of 3 years are exempt, children over 3 years should be encouraged to wear a face covering, however if they are unable to tolerate a face covering we will see them without one.
We ask that you do not wear gloves when visiting the premises, instead please sanitise your hands upon entering the premises, again when entering a clinical room and then upon exiting the building. Wearing gloves presents and infection risk to our staff and you will be asked to remove them before gaining access to the waiting room.
