Our dedicated team are here to diagnose and treat ailments, to provide specialist clinical management of long-term conditions and to offer clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology we use now means you can do a lot of things from the comfort of your own home. This includes ordering your repeat prescriptions, bookings or cancelling your appointments and have access to your clinical record.

Teaching and Training Practice

Mersea Island Medical Practice is proud to be a teaching and training practice. We have worked with many young doctors during their GP training. We also have medical students join us from time to time.

At all times our trainees are managed and fully supervised by a GP Partner.

With the supervision of our doctors, medical students, may with your consent in advance join your consultation. This is one way that medical students learn to become good doctors and provides a good insight into patient care.
