Travel vaccinations
You will need to complete our travel risk assessment form which is available on Anima or you can contact our reception team who will be able to send you a form via text/email. The practice nurses will then assess your requirements and contact you.
It is important to submit the form as early as possible, at least 8 weeks before you travel. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your appointment will need to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
Please note we do not offer private travel vaccinations such as Yellow Fever. However the nurse will inform you what is available. Any vaccinations we are unable to offer you, you will need to contact a specialist travel clinic.

Health checks are carried out by our healthcare assistants and patients are invited to attend via letter or text message. Patients aged 40 to 74 are eligible to have an NHS health check, one every 5 years. If you are yet to receive a letter or text and meet the eligibility criteria please contact the surgery receptionist to make an appointment.
We also offer health checks to our patients who are over 75 years old. The appointment will be with one of our Health Care Assistants and will last approximately 20 minutes. We will assess your general health including checking your cholesterol and cardiovascular risk to help identify potentially preventable health concerns. If we do have concerns you will be followed up by a Nurse or GP. If you are eligible you will be invited, by text or letter, to book an appointment.
